1 lb ground beef 1 onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes 2 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste 2 tsp dried basil 1 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 box lasagna noodle

Brown the minced beef in a large skillet over medium heat, until it is crumbly and browned.

Remove surplus fat. Cook the garlic and shallots for an additional five minutes.

Basil, black pepper, pureed tomatoes, tomato paste, and oregano should be added. Simmer alongside intermittent stirring for 15 minutes.

In the interim, prepare the lasagna noodles until al dente, following the instructions on the container.

Lightly coat the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish with sauce.

Cover with a layer of vermicelli. Ricotta cheese mixture, mozzarella, Parmesan, and beef sauce are layered on top.

Twenty-five minutes while covered with foil. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, uncovered, until heated and bubbly.
