4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice) 2 large eggs 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of salt Butter or cooking oil for frying Maple syrup, powdered sugar, or toppings of your choice
Medium heat is applied to a nonstick skillet or griddle. A small quantity of culinary oil or butter should be added to coat the surface.
Before proceeding, thoroughly saturate both sides of each slice of bread in the egg mixture. Permit the surplus liquid to drain away.
The coated bread segments should be placed on a hot skillet or griddle.
Cook for two to three minutes per side, or until thoroughly cooked and golden brown.
Proceed in the same manner with the remaining bread slices.
After the French toast has been prepared, transfer it to a serving plate.
Warm French toast adorned with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, maple syrup, or other preferred garnishes.
