Chilli Beef Mac And Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb elbow macaroni 1 lb ground beef 1 onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chilli powder 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon oregano 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes 1 cup beef broth

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1⁄2 cup shredded mozzarella Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef breaking it into crumbles as it browns. Drain excess fat.

Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until translucent.

Stir in the chilli powder, cumin, oregano, diced tomatoes and beef broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a casserole dish, mix together the cooked macaroni, chilli beef mixture, cheddar cheese and mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Top with extra shredded cheese, diced onions or sour cream if desired.
