HOW IT WORKS
How does an axe throwing event work?
We ask that you please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled reservation, so that our staff can ensure everyone has signed the waiver, go over the range rules, and give a short safety briefing.
Then one of our certified Axe Coaches will show you the basics on how to throw an axe and get you familiar with the rules of the game. We will work with each member of your group to make sure you are comfortable and confident in your throwing abilities. After you are warmed up, we will let you get started with one of the many games you can compete with each other in.
What are the requirements?
- Listen and follow all instructions from your assigned Axe Coach, at all times.
- All participants are required to sign a waiver before throwing.
- Axe throwing is for ages 10 and up, minors are required to have a parent/legal guardian present and sign their waiver.
- No open-toed shoes, you will not be allowed to throw unless you
have suitable footwear. - Do not be impaired or under the influence of alcohol or any
other substance, you will be asked to leave.

Do I need to make a reservation / book in advance?
Guests are not required to make a reservation, but it is highly encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to prior reservations and lane availability.
How many people can I bring?
Our facility can accommodate up to 40 axe throwers at a time. Depending on your group size you might only need a single lane or to book out half the venue.
Most of our lanes are built in pairs with two targets. Groups with 4 or less people may be combined with other players to fill double lanes to capacity. We fill lanes to 8 players per session.
Can I throw an axe on my own, or bring a date?
WHO CAN THROW
What's the minimum age to participate?
The minimum age to throw at our venue is 10 years old. All minors are required to have a parent / legal guardian sign their waiver.
At least one adult must remain with a group of minors for the duration of your booking.
Can I bring my child?
We allow young children/infants as spectators, but it may be unsettling for young ones with the loud noise from axes hitting targets, people cheering, and the music playing.
We require that parents/guardians monitor children closely at all times while within our facility. Children must be in their immediate care at all times, as there are sharp axes being thrown, and we take safety very seriously. Children must remain behind the axe throwing lane safety barriers at all times. At no time should a child be taken in the axe throwing lane.
Can I throw if I'm pregnant?
We don’t prohibit throwing by pregnant women, as it’s a personal choice based on your own determination and physical condition. We ask that you please discuss your participation in this activity with a qualified medical professional and take the advice of your health care provider, before attending.
Are spectators welcome?
Spectators are welcome at no extra charge but all guests must sign the waiver, regardless of throwing an axe or not.
WHAT TO BRING
What should I wear?
Each person entering the building is required to wear closed-toed shoes, including those that are only going to watch. We also recommend loose fitting clothing that is easy to move and throw in.
Can I bring my own axe?
Yes, please. All personal axes must be approved by staff before you begin your session. Any damage done to your axe when you are here is your responsibility and the same rules set for our axes apply to your axe as well.
SAFETY & INSURANCE
Is axe throwing safe?
It sure is! All throwing takes place under the direct supervision of our experienced coaches, and we have dozens of protective measures in place, such as chain link fencing and a separated spectator area for guests who aren’t throwing.
Can I sign a waiver in advance?
Yes! You can fill out and sign through our waiver widget on the bottom right side of the screen or click here.
You can also sign an electronic copy of the waiver when you enter the facility. We have multiple kiosk stations with tablets to complete this. You have the option to do one or the other.
We encourage everyone to sign in advance to streamline check-in, but our staff will still verify everyone has signed before throwing.
Are you insured?
Last Frontier Axe Co is fully insured.

How do I book axe throwing?
Booking is easy! Just select your preferred date and time slot from our booking page, or click here.
Available times are displayed, so if a calendar date is grayed out, then it’s likely fully booked or closed for a holiday. You can also call us to confirm last minute availability, or to get on the waitlist as cancellations can occur.
What if the time I want is already booked?
While rare, cancellations do occur. Please let us know your preferred date(s), group size, and the best way to get a hold of you quickly.
LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY
Is your facility wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our facility is 100% wheelchair accessible.
Is there somewhere we can sit and eat?
We have tables and chairs set up at all the lanes – perfect for pizza, birthday cakes or a dinner date for two in between axe throwing. We ask that you please clean up after yourself.

How much does it cost?
1 Hour – Single Target Booking:
Single person – $30.00
Doubles – $45.00
Groups of 3-4 – $65.00
1 Hour – Private Lane Booking (2 targets):
Groups of up to 8 players – $90.00
2 Hour – Single Target Booking:
Single person – $60.00
Doubles – $90.00
Group of 3-4 – $130.00

2 Hour – Half Venue Booking (5 targets):
Groups of up to 20 players – $450.00 ($125.00 each additional hour)

Cash, debit, and credit card payments are acceptable.

MANAGING YOUR BOOKING
Can I cancel and/or reschedule?
Cancellation Policy
No refund will be provided for cancellations 24 hours or less in advance of event start time, or in case of no-show. This inculdes reservations made day of event. This includes same day reservations.
No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 25 or more hours in advance of event start time.
No refund will be provided for cancellations of Full Venue Reservations made less than 1 week prior to event start time or incase of no-show.
50% cancellation fee applies for cancellations of Full Venue Rentals made 1 week prior to event start time.
Customers have the option to rebook at a future date. Reservations can be kept on the books up to one month if you are unsure of a future date/time. ( Does Not Apply to Full Venue Reservations or Mobile Axe Trailer Rentals)
Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone or e-mail to rebook or inquire about a cancellation.
No-Calls/No-shows will be charged the full price and not able to reschedule without a new booking
No refund will be provided for cancellations of Mobile Trailer Rental made less than 1 week prior to event start time.
50% cancellation fee applies for cancellations of Mobile Trailer Rental made 1 week prior to event start time.
Can I arrive early?
Yes! Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation so you can complete check-in and receive axe throwing instructions / safety briefing.
You will have access to your throwing area provided it’s not in use. If you need to drop off any material earlier than this, however, please contact us to make special arrangements, and we’ll do whatever we can to help out.
What if I arrived late?
While we have some flexibility with handling latecomers, we strongly encourage parties to arrive 5 minutes early to fill out waivers and get situated comfortably in their lane(s).
There is no guarantee that we will be able to let you stay over into the next hour due to scheduling restrictions.
What if my group size changes?
If your group size increases past the booking limit for your lane, contact us as soon as possible to make further reservations. There is no guarantee we will have availability for a larger group at the same booking date/time.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Are food and drinks available?
While we do not have any food for purchase, we have an assortment of soft drinks and other cold beverages available to purchase. Keep an eye out on social media to see what food trucks we will have coming by in the future!
Do you allow alcohol?
Alcohol is not allowed. If you come in impaired or under the influence of alcohol or any other substance, you will be asked to leave.
Can I bring my own food & drinks?
Guests can bring their own food and drinks, especially if booking in larger groups for an event. No alcohol allowed though.
Do you allow outside catering?
Please contact us for further information about catering for parties or special events.
